Ecclesiastes 4:12

Isolation leads to breakage.

You can be isolated even when you're surrounded by people.

The stress of holding your entire business together by yourself can creep up on you.

It can put the things you value most at risk - family, finances, and true fellowship with others.

How isolated have you become in your business?

An Invitation

Connection with the right people leads to strength.

Executive coaching grounded in a biblical foundation is  an antidote to isolation. It leads to stronger faith, healthier relationships, and greater profitability in your business.

I invite you to invest a few minutes and consider these questions:

Who else really understands what's going on in your business?

Who is sharpening you - as iron sharpens iron?

Who is helping you see what you are missing?

If your answer is "nobody, really...", I can help.

A cord of 3 strands.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors, they succeed.

Proverbs 15:22

The Value of 3

Coaching is a safety check against isolation and risk.

The HBR CEO Snapshot Survey found that 60-71% of CEOs reported being lonely at the top - and said it is "dangerous".

The study confirms what Proverbs 15 already showed us - it isn't a biblical way to lead.

Coaching from someone who shares your faith will help your plans succeed.

Biblical Perspective

Which of your plans will benefit when you work with a coach and weave these 3 Strands into your business?

If they stumble, the first will lift up his friend—but woe to anyone who is alone when he falls and there is no one to help him get up.

What Is Christian Coaching?

What is the value of Christian executive coaching?

Partnering with someone who doesn't share your faith values is like being unequally yoked in your business.

It might be even more dangerous than isolation.

A Christian executive coach serves from a biblical foundation. Every question, insight, and exploration is framed according to faith-based principles.

You benefit from shared commitment to building a business for the glory of God.

If you'd like to be supported in your business and your faith, Christian executive coaching is for you.

About Me

Dave Bates - Christian Executive Coach

 and Fractional Chief Operating Officer

I began this coaching practice because of God's calling in my life to support business owners in their journey from isolation to connection.

My professional passion is to help owners like you grow a thriving business that glorifies God and do work that provides you with the satisfaction and freedom you dreamed of when you started.

I've used God's unique gifts to me as a career leader in many technology and service-based companies. That includes everything from the roles of CEO and COO to my early career work at IBM where I was trained as an organizational coach - and lots of leadership roles in between. You can learn more about my professional background through my LinkedIn profile.

I earned a B.A. from Cedarville University that included a degree in Biblical Studies. This foundation, along with a long walk in the Christian faith, anchors all my personal and professional actions.

I blend biblical principles, aspirational coaching, and prescriptive consulting to reduce the risk of isolation and increase the potential for your plans to succeed.

Does this sound like the kind of support that will help you reach your goals?
